Tsingshan Holding Group’s production bases span across Zhejiang, Fujian, Guangdong, Henan, Indonesia and many other places around the world. It has established a complete stainless steel production supply chain from upstream raw materials of stainless steel, maritime logistics, nickel alloy smelting, stainless steel smelting, to downstream bar and plate processing, and international trades. In Indonesia Sulawesi Nickel Industry Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Tsingshan Holding Group, their original motor brand of compressor equipped was TECO. It has been running steadily for more than 6 years. To ensure production continuity, the plant needs to procure a similar-specification high-voltage motor as a spare.
According to the technical requirements given by Indonesia factory, Weima Electric provided a TECO HV water-cooled AEZW model with 12000KW output, consistent with the original motor. This motor offers the following advantages:
1. Using proven vacuum pressure impregnation (VPI) technology, reliable insulation system, high electrical strength of windings and long insulation life.
2. Excellent air-water cooling system with low loss, good cooling effect and low noise.
3. Rotor cast aluminum and copper bar structure allows flexible selection, low rotor dynamic imbalance, ensuring smooth operation and low vibration of the motor.
4. Large-size terminal box meets higher insulation requirements and facilitates wiring.
5. Reliable mechanical structure, optimized base design, and use of imported brand bearings ensuring high mechanical reliability and stable operation of the motor.
The equipment installation and commissioning have been completed and shipped to the Indonesian steel plant which was officially put into use. The services provided by Weima Electric have been affirmed by Tsingshan Holding Group’s project team. The existence of the spare motor ensures the stability of the production line. Moreover, the spare motor is identical to the original motor, enabling seamless integration. Weima’s solution has saved a significant amount of time and effort for Tsingshan Group’s project team because the spare motor matched the equipment perfectly without any technical modifications.
